Why was my vessel towed?
For reasons why your vessel was towed, contact the San Diego Harbor Police at (619) 686-6272. Please keep in mind that the Marine Group Boat Works is only responsible for storing towed vessels.

Who determines the vessel fees?
All fees are set by the Unified Port of San Diego. Storage fees accrue 7 days a week, including holidays. Please contact the Unified Port of San Diego it you have any questions regarding fees.

By what methods may I pay for the vessel fees?
Fees must be paid in full via cash, or check - payable to Marine Group Boat Works. No payment plans are available.

May I board my towed vessel?
Registered owners may only board their vessel with a Marine Group Boat Works escort. Please note; only the registered owner can board the vessel and only personal belongings may be removed from the vessel. No marine equipment related to the vessel may be removed.

Who may claim the towed vessel?
Vessels may only be released to the registered owner with government-issued picture ID. Marine Group Boat Works cannot accept fees or documentation from anyone other than the registered owner.

When may I claim my vessel?
Vessels may only be claimed during regular business hours on Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. We are closed during standard holidays.
